How do you create the perfect Ascian?It's quite simple. A child is born in the depths of the Void, hidden away in an old crumbling castle.From the moment he can understand the words of his mother, he is told of the old world. His mother regales him with tales of the Utopia that once was, of the lives that fractured souls once lived. And oh, it was beautiful.He is deprived of joy in this life. Allowed to suffer, condemned to wait. The mother meant to hold him leaves him upon cold stone, and the father meant to protect him can do nothing but watch, for this is all of a grand design. The boy endures, dreams of an Ancient world beyond his grasp.He is shown the horrors of the world as he grows. Bears witness to the carnal wrongness of it all, the cruelty of these bestial reflections of a once benevolent, intelligent people. He grows to hate it all, to see each and every life as a tool. A means to an end. He watches for hundreds of years, and he chases those sweet dreams.The boy, now a man, hones himself for one purpose. Becomes the tool he makes of each living thing. Becomes an instrument to the End Times. Even the mother who bestowed upon him this great gift of clarity becomes his enemy, the very person who planted the seed of Void in his heart. The father is too soft on him. So she removes this obstacle. And in so doing, writes a song of bitterness in her son's heart. If even his own family could be so wretched, then there simply is no hope for this shattered existence.So he pours himself into bringing it all down to its knees.This hound with a sole purpose trained into him.This shadow with no place in this world.He is the tool his mother created.Sculpted by her hands.The Perfect Ascian.

Hooks
- Joseph is an Ascian. If you have an Ascian as well, they may know him as Skia, as Joseph is just an Alias he uses while skulking about in Eorzea. Let's cause some mayhem, shall we?
- For those with Aethersight, Joseph's is very dense and aspected majorly towards Darkness. Something more akin to a Voidsent or Ascian than a regular old hyur.
- The old man loves stories. Especially those of the old world before the sundering, or of Forays into the Thirteenth Shard. He would be glad to listen to stories like these, or share some tales of his own.
- After the events of Endwalker, Joseph is a very bored Ascian. Always trying to scheme on how to bring about the Rejoining, and waiting for his fellow Ascians to find some creative ideas of their own. If your character is the type to naturally want to thwart these kinds of villains, or is one themselves? There's certainly potential for some riveting interactions!

Howdy, i'm Jasper! Thank you for looking at this page!
